About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Agency Care Assistant in Crewe. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a gentleman in his own home who has an Acquired Brain Injury causing challenging behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Promote independence and a sense of well-being among service users
- Build strong relationships with service users who have varying needs and abilities
- Travel to Leicester for paid training and have experience or be willing to be trained on bowel management and spinal conditions
Requirements:
- Be over the age of 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be a UK resident
- Have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
- Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
