About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in providing exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of patients and their families.
  • Prepare the clinical area for safe practice, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use.
  • Provide escort and transfer for patients as directed by the multidisciplinary team.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations.
  • Contribute to the recording and storing of information, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and legibility.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience as a Healthcare Assistant.
  • NVQ 2 or willingness to achieve.
  • Importance of continued self-learning.
