Job Outline:
The role encompasses the comprehensive management of the daily operations of the Children's Home, ensuring adherence to Children's Homes Regulations while prioritizing the safeguarding of young people's welfare.
Participation in the on-call roster is expected to support the Children's Home.Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Oversee the residential home daily, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative and contractual obligations, including the health and educational needs of young individuals.
- Collaborate with various departments and external agencies to guarantee that young people receive suitable plans, programs, and support to facilitate their rehabilitation into the community and meet contractual standards.
- Mentor, support, and develop staff, including supervision, to enhance their performance and uphold high standards of care, values, ethical practices, equality and diversity, policies, procedures, legislation, and inspection framework requirements.
- Assist in budget formulation and manage financial resources to align with budgetary constraints.
- Interpret and implement legislative changes related to occupancy to ensure compliance with enhanced requirements.
- Identify staffing needs and oversee the ongoing recruitment, training, and development of personnel to optimize service delivery and meet relevant standards.
