Reporting To:
Facilities Operations Manager

We are looking for a committed and service-oriented Facilities Support Specialist to become a part of our Facilities Management team.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering initial assistance for facilities-related inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.

A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is a prerequisite for this role.

Facilities Assistance:
Provide initial assistance for facilities-related inquiries, encompassing maintenance, repairs, and service requests.
Identify and resolve issues through phone, email, or face-to-face interactions.
Record and monitor issues utilizing the facilities management ticketing system, ensuring timely resolutions.
Generate regular reports on recurring issues and solutions to enhance overall facilities support processes.
Aid in routine maintenance and updates of facilities systems and equipment.
Assist with the installation and configuration of new facilities equipment as required.
Observe system performance and escalate issues to higher-level support when necessary.
Collaborate closely with other facilities team members to ensure comprehensive support coverage.

Engage in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of facilities services. Additional certifications or training in facilities management are advantageous.


Qualifications:
Previous experience in a help desk or facilities support capacity is preferred.
Proficiency with facilities management software and standard office applications.
Familiarity with building systems and maintenance protocols.
A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
