Job Overview

We are seeking a Fleet Helpdesk Supervisor to oversee our helpdesk operations. In this role, you will ensure that helpdesk activities are executed with excellence, fostering a positive work environment while delivering outstanding service.

Compensation: £28,560 Annually

Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off Days (06:00-18:00)

As the ideal candidate, you will play a vital role in the success of our operations, reporting directly to the Senior Desktop Engineer.

Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Helpdesk Supervisor:

  • Communicating objectives and timelines to team members
  • Organizing workloads and assigning tasks effectively
  • Creating a conducive working atmosphere for the team
  • Supporting the recruitment and training of new staff
  • Assisting in the daily operations of the organization
  • Handling customer service inquiries and providing assistance
  • Keeping the team informed about recent updates and policy changes
  • Addressing any delays or issues with the management team as necessary
  • Monitoring ongoing events to ensure timely updates and resolution of defects
  • Maintaining an organized helpdesk inbox and ensuring prompt action on emails
  • Assisting with report generation as required
  • Ensuring adequate coverage during employee absences
  • Adhering to and regularly reviewing administration and operational policies
  • Staying informed about announcements and process updates
  • Listening to team feedback and resolving conflicts
  • Meeting with management to discuss operational challenges
  • Ensuring that all operations meet the required standards for smooth business functioning
  • Updating and maintaining the MyFleet system
  • Contributing to projects as directed by management
  • Performing additional tasks related to operations as required

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with strong typing skills
  • Ability to collaborate with management to ensure compliance with legal obligations
  • Meeting customer and internal performance indicators
  • Understanding of administration and operational policies
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and appraisals
  • Providing adequate support to team administrators
  • Effectively escalating issues when necessary
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization
