Senior Corporate Tax Consultant
We are currently seeking a qualified Tax Consultant to join our dynamic Business Tax division. This pivotal role offers flexibility in terms of office location.
The ideal candidate will be either a newly qualified or an experienced Tax Consultant with ambitions to advance to a managerial position.
The primary objective of this role is to oversee a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring their compliance needs are met with the support of senior team members, while also engaging in advisory projects as necessary.
This position is crucial within the Business and Corporate Tax Team, with initial responsibilities focused on managing a range of business tax compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing UK corporation tax computations.
- Monitoring compliance deadlines and payment schedules.
- Collaborating with audit and accounts teams to advise on tax-related entries and disclosures.
- Mentoring and training junior members of the Business Tax Team.
- Providing tax compliance proposals to potential clients.
- Depending on experience, coordinating and reviewing additional business tax returns.
- Managing client correspondence and liaising with HMRC.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and promoting cross-service collaboration.
- Assisting with various ad hoc projects as required.
- Ensuring adherence to the Firm's technical and compliance standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will be expected to work independently while receiving necessary support from tax partners and directors.
Strong relationship management skills are essential, as the candidate will be responsible for effective teamwork and direct client interactions, while also mentoring junior staff.
Required Skills & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of corporate tax regulations.
- Familiarity with tax issues affecting owner-managed businesses.
- Understanding of other business taxes is advantageous.
- Proficiency in UK accounting standards and financial analysis.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and tax software.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
