About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a key role in providing an outstanding clinical pharmacy service to our patients and contributing to the development of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in mental health settings, including medication reconciliation, clinical screening, and medicines information.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement pharmacy services that improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on pharmacy-related topics.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and incident reporting.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • General Pharmaceutical Council membership.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (Band 7).
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy, including medicines information, aseptic services, and ward services.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the development of pharmacy services.
