Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Student and Campus Services, the Administrative Support Professional will provide comprehensive support to various departments within the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute general office tasks such as scheduling meetings, handling phone calls, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Coordinate events and promotional activities related to campus services.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and external partners.
  • Procure office supplies and create engaging displays for community outreach.
  • Manage departmental files and serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries.
  • Process invoices and handle accounts payable responsibilities.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and assist with emergency response activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and interact professionally with the public.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Secretarial experience in a similar academic environment.
  • Certified Notary Public status.
  • Strong social media management abilities.

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Hours:

  • Ability to work comfortably at a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
