Our client, a distinguished professional association located in Southwest London, is looking for an Administrative Specialist to enhance their team.

The Role of Client Relations Specialist

The Client Relations Specialist is a newly created position reporting to the Head of Operational Services. The individual will provide administrative assistance to ensure the efficient management of all membership-related activities. This includes maintaining up-to-date membership records and addressing inquiries from both potential and current members, as well as business partners. The individual will also play a key role in fostering a positive member experience throughout the membership journey (assisting prospects, onboarding new members, and managing current members). Additionally, the individual will aid in generating data and insights to better understand member feedback and will participate in the integration of a new CRM platform.

Key Skills Required

Hands-on experience in supporting memberships within a professional association or similar organization, or relevant professional experience such as customer service that equips you to meet our needs effectively.

Assist in the rollout of a new CRM system, becoming a proficient user and guiding the team in utilizing the system efficiently and uniformly.

Oversee the process for potential members, responding promptly to new inquiries and collaborating with the team to schedule introductory meetings.

Update website content, including the events section and member information.

Manage the membership communication inbox.

Update the database of member contacts.

Make adjustments to Mailchimp, including supporting the monthly data cleanup.

Assist in the annual review of member information.

Facilitate a seamless annual renewal and invoicing process.

Support the Regulatory team as needed with membership matters in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a professional membership organization or charity.

Proficiency in report generation.

Degree-level education.

Familiarity with a CRM system.

Experience in membership marketing, focusing on recruitment and retention strategies or equivalent.
