Job Overview

Position Summary

The main responsibilities include ensuring the upkeep of all company-owned machinery; readiness to travel to client locations for repairs and servicing of mobilized equipment; and maintaining accurate service records while coordinating with the Certification Coordinator on all certification-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in daily safety briefings.
  • Conduct operations in a secure and regulated manner, prioritizing the safety of yourself, colleagues, and associated personnel. Carry out all workshop and yard tasks, including maintenance, fabrication, and equipment functionality assessments, ensuring all requested equipment is prepared for operational tasks according to load-out specifications.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues reported during jobs to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal cleanliness and organization to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Store all equipment in designated areas within the workshop or yard.
  • Utilize the company's Status Label System consistently.
  • Adhere to all company protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the stores department to ensure availability of spare parts for routine maintenance of all machinery.
  • Guide and mentor trainees during their workshop experience.
  • Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator regarding the allocation of equipment for mobilization.
  • Ensure all company equipment is kept in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Foreman or Workshop Manager.
  • Comply with company policies and represent the company's interests at all times.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Demonstrated mechanical expertise, particularly with diesel engines, fluid pumps, and nitrogen equipment.
  • Prior experience in the Oil and Gas sector is required.

Preferred:

  • Certification for operating overhead cranes.
  • Forklift truck license for vehicles up to 16T.

Experience Requirements

Essential:

• Comprehensive technical knowledge of pipeline and process testing operations and associated equipment.

• Strong foundation in large diesel machinery.

Preferred:

• Experience in a similar field.
