Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Sensient Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory bodies, including the Health and Safety Executive and the Environment Agency.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
- Manage and maintain EHS records, reports, and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH National Diploma qualification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or experience with nationally recognized EHS bodies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
