Main Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to neonates and their families, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
- Lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring effective handovers and smooth transitions of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with the Maternity and Paediatric teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements- Registered Nurse (RGN, RSCN, or RN (Adult or Child)) with a post-registration qualification in neonatal specialist area (ENB 405 or equivalent).
- Teaching and assessing or mentorship qualification.
- Two years' clinical experience in a neonatal unit, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of financial management in a clinical setting.
- Ability to communicate unpleasant or sensitive information.
- Basic IT skills.
- Manage own workload, coordinate others, and supervise, support, and coach junior staff.
