Quality Service Recruitment Limited is looking for a proficient and dependable Counter-Balance Forklift Operator to support our logistics and distribution operations within the agricultural sector.
In this vital role, you will manage the handling of substantial loads, specifically 1-ton bags of master seeds, ensuring their secure transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counter-balance forklift truck safely to load, unload, and transport master seed bags within the warehouse and distribution facility.
- Efficiently transfer products from storage areas to loading docks and delivery vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with production and warehouse teams to guarantee timely and precise order fulfillment.
- Follow health and safety protocols while managing heavy loads and operating the forklift.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks, including handballing and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Be prepared to work extended shifts, including 12-hour days during weekdays and 6 hours on Saturdays during peak periods.
- Hold a valid counter-balance FLT license and possess experience in forklift operation.
- Maintain physical fitness and the capability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Exhibit dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Foster a team-oriented approach and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
- Show flexibility to work extended hours during busy seasons.
- Have familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Work schedule includes Monday to Friday and Saturdays.
Earn a minimum of £750 per week with a basic rate of £12.50 per hour and £18.75 per hour for overtime.
