We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counter-Balance FLT Operative to join our team in a key role within our logistics and distribution operations. As a key player, you will be responsible for handling live loads of up to 1-ton bags of master seeds and ensuring their safe transport.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a counter-balance forklift truck to load, unload, and transport bags of master seeds within our warehouse and distribution centre.
- Efficiently move products from storage areas to loading docks and delivery vehicles.
- Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling heavy loads and operating the forklift.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including handballing and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Work extended shifts, including 12-hour days from Monday to Friday, and 6 hours on Saturdays during peak periods.
- Valid counter-balance FLT license and experience operating forklifts.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during busy seasons.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Earn a minimum of £750 per week.
- £12.50 p/h basic
- £18.75 p/h Overtime
