We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counter-Balance FLT Operative to join our team as a key player in our logistics and distribution operations.
As a Counter-Balance FLT Operative, you will be responsible for handling live loads of up to 1-ton bags of master seeds and ensuring their safe transport.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely Operate a Counter-Balance Forklift Truck: Load, unload, and transport bags of master seeds within our warehouse and distribution centre.
- Efficiently Move Products: From storage areas to loading docks and delivery vehicles.
- Collaborate with Teams: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment with the production and warehouse teams.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Guidelines: Handle heavy loads and operate the forklift while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Assist with General Warehouse Duties: Handballing and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Work Extended Shifts: 12-hour days from Monday to Friday, and 6 hours on Saturdays during peak periods.
- Valid Counter-Balance FLT License: Experience operating forklifts is essential.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Dedication and Reliability: Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons.
- Warehouse Operations Expertise: Familiarity with logistics processes.
Earn a minimum of £750 per week.
- Basic Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour.
- Overtime Rate: £18.75 per hour.
