Home Support Matters is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend On-Call Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in their homes within the Gt. Yarmouth and Lowestoft areas.
As an On-Call Retainer, you will be responsible for stepping in at short notice when regular care workers are unavailable. This role requires a highly experienced individual who can deliver exceptional care promptly and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities- Enablement: Assist individuals in learning or relearning essential skills to maintain their independence.
- Personal Care: Provide comprehensive support with personal hygiene tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Meal Preparation: Ensure nutritional needs are met by preparing and assisting with meals.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medication as instructed and perform other complex interventions based on your training level.
- Encouragement and Support: Engage with customers in various activities, fostering their well-being and social interaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate Customer Care Logs and Medical Administration Records.
