Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Planner and Scheduler to join our team at Howells Recruitment, working on repairs and maintenance within social housing.
About the Role: As a Repairs Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing calls on system, managing operatives' diaries, and general administration. You will also plan repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative, ensuring trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calls on system and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Manage operatives' diaries and schedules
- General administration and document control
- Plan repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative
- Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively
- Liaise with operatives, tenants, and clients to ensure smooth communication
- Document control and ensure worksheets are received and checked
- Work towards individual and client KPIs
- Deal with council and private housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential, and emergency property maintenance works
- Track and monitor to completion
- Liaise with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen and council operatives to plan appointments, materials, and logistics
- Organize external supply companies
- Ensure all trades are ready and present on-site and works completed in-line with committed client completion dates
