Asset Maintenance Planner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at a power station in Kent. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling and tracking the completion of preventative maintenance, repair, and outage work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the site's computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure accurate and timely maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Maintenance Team to ensure effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain a minimum backlog of open maintenance work orders to efficiently control the work of the maintenance department.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- A time served apprenticeship along with an HNC/ONC level qualification in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Maintenance Planner or Planning Engineer role in a heavy industrial process facility.
- Strong understanding of engineering and maintenance principles and terminology associated with rotating and static plant.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project and other planning software.
- Ability to create and approve risk assessments and method statements.
