Job Summary:
MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at a power station in Kent. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling and tracking the completion of preventative maintenance, repair, and outage work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the site's computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure accurate maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with the O&M Team to ensure timely completion of maintenance work orders.
- Maintain a minimum backlog of open maintenance work orders to efficiently control the work of the maintenance department.
Requirements:
- A time served apprenticeship along with an HNC/ONC level qualification in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Maintenance Planner / Planning Engineer / Maintenance Coordinator / Maintenance Team Leader role in a heavy industrial process facility.
- Competent user of computerised maintenance management systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering and maintenance principles and terminology associated with rotating and static plant.
- Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Project and other planning software.
