About the Role
Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with an organisation based on the outskirts of Kings Lynn to find a Part-Qualified Accountant to lead their financial management and payroll. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to bring accounting processes in-house, implementing new software systems and procedures.
Your New Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for day-to-day accounts, including ledger transactions, cashflow management, and forecasting.
- Produce monthly management accounts for the organisation's network of branches, with detailed analysis of income vs expenditure.
- Implement new accounting software systems and procedures.
- Work with the Managing Director to bring payroll back in-house, currently outsourced to a 3rd party provider.
What You'll Need
- At least a part-qualified accountant with proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll.
- Strong focus on payroll and ability to set up and produce monthly management accounts for an expanding business.
- Commercially aware and able to work closely with all areas of the business.
What You'll Get
- A flexible benefits package, including hybrid working.
- A salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
