Job Summary:

The role sits within the Construction and Facilities Management (FM) category, responsible for managing end-to-end Construction and FM procurement exercises within Local Authorities or equivalent Public Bodies. This includes ensuring compliance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the organisation's Procurement Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing complex and high-profile end-to-end procurement processes without supervision

• Running a Tender Process on an electronic Procurement Portal, including setting up projects and managing workflows and activities

• Managing and supporting the development of Category Officers

Essential Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing end-to-end Construction and FM procurement exercises within Local Authorities or equivalent Public Bodies

• At least 2 years' experience of using the JCT Suite of contracts

• At least 2 years' experience of applying PCR 2015 or advising clients to ensure compliant procurement processes

• Minimum of 2 years' work experience undertaking the assembly of Tender Packs (Invitation To Tender / Request for Quotation)

• Experience working with Client Project Teams / Internal Departments to assist with drafting documents and ensure Tender Packs are complete with all relevant information

Essential Qualifications:

• General education qualification

Working Arrangements:

• 35 hours per week

• Predominantly a hybrid working assignment, with at least 1 day in the office and as and when required
