We are in search of a driven and detail-oriented professional to lead, develop, and manage the collections team at our headquarters.

You will be fully accountable for ensuring the collections service operates efficiently and effectively. Daily interaction with company executives and related departments will require articulate and professional communication skills.

We specialize in offering a wide array of high-quality cars, light commercial vehicles, and specialized vehicles for both sale and rental throughout the UK. Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to lead, develop, and manage the collections team at our headquarters.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the collections service runs efficiently and effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing all phases of the collections process, including pre-action protocols, issuing letters of claim, initiating court proceedings, requesting judgments, and instructing enforcement actions.
  • Coordinating with third parties such as enforcement agents, bailiffs, courts, and judges, including representing the company in court hearings.
  • Providing regular updates to executives and senior management regarding the status of collections.
  • Maintaining regular communication with other departments such as Finance and Rentals.
  • Ensuring meticulous record-keeping throughout all stages of the collections process.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the organization to maximize revenue from successful collections.
  • Exhibiting technical and strategic knowledge of the company's collections procedures and processes.

Skills & Experience

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in collections management.
  • Experience in a paralegal role or a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to manage a significant caseload of complex collections matters.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong IT skills with the capability to generate informative reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data and findings effectively.
  • A valid UK Driver's License.

This position reports to the Head of Finance and is based at our headquarters. A valid UK Driver's License is essential.


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,000.00 per year
