U-Drive are hiring Join U-Drive as our Debt Recovery Manager
We are seeking motivated and detail orientated individual to head up, build and lead the debt recovery team at our head office in Poole. You will have full responsibility for ensuring the debt collection service runs efficiently and smoothly. You will be liaising daily with company Directors and associated departments so articulate and professional communication is imperative.
Monday- Friday 8.30am - 5pm

THE ROLE
We are seeking motivated and detail orientated individual to head up, build and lead the debt recovery team at our head office in Poole. You will ensure the debt collection service runs efficiently and smoothly.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, although are not limited to the following:
* Carry out all stages of the debt recovery process from pre action protocols, sending letters of claim, issuing court proceedings, requesting judgment, and instructing enforcement action.
* Liaison with 3rd parties such as ARM, bailiffs, high court enforcement, courts, and judges. This will also include representing the company at court hearings)
* Regular reporting to directors and senior managers on debt status.
* Regular liaison with other departments such as Finance, Rental etc
* Maintaining high standards of record keeping of all stages of debt recovery.
* Working alongside colleagues across the company to maximise revenues generated from successful recoveries.
* Demonstrating technical and strategic knowledge about the company’s debt recovery procedures and processes.
​SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following relevant skills and competencies:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in debt recovery.
* Experience as a Paralegal or similar environment.
* Experience of managing your own significant caseload of complex debt recovery matters.
* Have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent IT skills with the ability to produce informative reports.
* Have excellent communication skills including presentation of data and findings.
* Full UK Drivers’ License

This role reports to the Head of Finance and will be based at our Head Office in Poole. A Full UK Driver’s License in essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,000.00 per year
