Nurse Specialist in Cardiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NHS Specialist Nurse to join our team at the Transformation Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiology services.
Job SummaryThe NHS Specialist Nurse will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health care needs assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and independence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Registered Nurse with a strong background in cardiology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
