About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Receptionist to join our team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our Urology Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide receptionist duties, including prioritizing and arranging appointments and maintaining the various appointment systems.
  • Deal with patients and external and internal staff enquiries in person or via the telephone, in a courteous and confidential manner.
  • Ensure patients safety and well-being in the waiting area prior to them being called for their appointment.
  • Liaise with Secretaries and other departments within the Trust as necessary to ensure case notes, X-rays and referrals are available for every patient attending an outpatient clinic.
Requirements
  • Good general standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • Experience in NHS or customer service organization.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT skills - accurate data input.
  • Flexible - able to multi-task and prioritize.
