Urology Department Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Receptionist to join our team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our Urology Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide receptionist duties, including prioritizing and arranging appointments and maintaining the various appointment systems.
- Deal with patients and external and internal staff enquiries in person or via the telephone, in a courteous and confidential manner.
- Ensure patients safety and well-being in the waiting area prior to them being called for their appointment.
- Liaise with Secretaries and other departments within the Trust as necessary to ensure case notes, X-rays and referrals are available for every patient attending an outpatient clinic.
- Good general standard of literacy and numeracy.
- Experience in NHS or customer service organization.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT skills - accurate data input.
- Flexible - able to multi-task and prioritize.
