We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our residential care team as the Head of Home. As a key member of the Care Services Management Team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Service and other Team Managers to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our children and young people.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in children's residential management, with a minimum of four years of post-qualification experience in leading and managing a dedicated team. You will be responsible for supervising managerial and senior residential social work staff, fostering professional practice and performance excellence.
As a key member of the Care Services Management Team, you will work closely with the Head of Service and other Team Managers to develop and promote the service, driving performance improvements. You will also provide management cover for Team Managers when necessary and represent our service at external events.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage financial resources prudently and ensure robust business planning and sound financial management. You will also have the skills to ensure our residential care aligns with the home's Statement of Purpose, Children's Homes Regulations, Ofsted requirements, and our commitment to equality and positive outcomes for all children and young people.
