Salary: £50K - £55K plus package
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing Planned, Reactive, and Void projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to.
- Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain, maximizing leverage and working seamlessly within the business.
- Oversee some members of the team.
- Firm understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works and disrepair building maintenance surveying background is desirable.
- Previous experience working in the social housing/local authority sector.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive approach to work.
- Proven track record for being reliable and punctual.
- Must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
Requirements:
- Social Housing, Building Contractor, and local authority industry knowledge.
- IT and Excel literate.
- HNC or equivalent surveying qualification required.
