Overview

The Meta Technical Product Program Management (TPM) community is at the forefront of developing innovative technologies that connect individuals and enterprises on a global scale. As a Product TPM, you will operate at the intersection of technical execution and business strategy, collaborating closely with Engineering and Product teams. Your role will be pivotal in driving significant impact by delivering quantifiable results across various domains.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the development and management of comprehensive technical product solutions, ensuring timely delivery.
  2. Coordinate cross-functional products and initiatives within a matrixed organization.
  3. Assist in defining the strategic roadmap and long-term vision for the teams you collaborate with.
  4. Establish metrics to assess impact and promote internal process enhancements.
  5. Clearly communicate the technology, requirements, objectives, and milestones of your team.
  6. Collaboratively shape the vision for creating Meta-scale, cutting-edge, global products.
  7. Formulate and manage detailed project plans to guarantee timely delivery, providing daily coordination and quality assurance for tasks.
  8. Identify interdependencies and devise strategies for mitigation.
  9. Act swiftly in a flat organizational structure by collaborating with technical program managers and engineers across Meta to create a unified vision for enhancing execution and developing solutions for privacy and security at scale.
  10. Maintain ongoing communication regarding planning, project status, challenges, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  11. Build relationships with product and infrastructure teams to identify adoption challenges and advocate for purposeful use development and privacy/security product adoption.
  12. Influence product decisions to align with broader company initiatives.
  13. Bring a strong sense of accountability and execution to the team.
  14. Establish shared objectives with product teams across the organization to foster alignment among multiple cross-functional teams and to develop and scale products for Meta.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience in delivering technical programs or products from inception to completion.
  3. Understanding of user requirements, gathering specifications, and defining project scope.
  4. Demonstrated ability to operate independently across multiple teams, showcasing critical thinking and thought leadership.
  5. Experience in communication and collaboration with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
  6. Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  7. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with large-scale systems.
  8. Experience in establishing collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams and partners in various time zones.
  9. Experience working with product teams to create and deliver end-to-end customer-focused products, with a solid understanding of the underlying platforms and technologies.
