Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Digital Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of all activities covered by the Solutions team and managing the overall DCS roadmap process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evolving the rolling 2-year DCS discovery and delivery roadmap, creating options, facilitating decisions, and communicating.
  • Ideation, gathering and assessing ideas and requests.
  • Discovery, researching, validating, and valuing customer problems and proposed solutions.
  • Customer insights, Net Promoter Score, customer feedback, and user groups.
  • OKRs tracking and Quarterly Planning Conference preparation, including handshakes with teams across Brambles.
  • The rolling 2-year DCS master roadmap covering all discovery and delivery activities for all DCS solutions, maximizing solution-market fit, delivery of vision, and targets, and ROI-value creation.
  • Leading the decision process to produce the next quarter plan, balancing competing customer and business demands against available resources.
  • Leading the road mapping review and update processes involving DCS and regional stakeholders, sensitively balancing various priorities of customers, DCS, and Regions.
  • Generating roadmap options and analysis.
  • Leading the ideation process, collecting and assessing new ideas, requests, and customer problems as inputs into solution roadmaps.
  • Leading the DCS customer insights and NPS process, continuously and proactively gathering feedback and ideas from customer organizations and users.
  • Tracking and communicating customer insight performance, along with facilitating learning and improvements.
  • The delivery velocity and smooth running of all Discovery stage activities across the DCS Solutions team.
  • Coordinating the QPC preparation and handshake process to agree a committed next quarter plan between DCS and Digital, IT, and Regional teams.
  • Developing a maturity improvement strategy and delivering this through continuously learning and iterating.
  • Leading, managing, and developing direct report teams.
  • Working with Commercial teams and Product Development teams to establish and obtain consensus on Customer goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assessing the degree to which changes to scope, issues, and risks will affect programs and gaining agreement for resolution.
  • Determining resource needs and accounting for their effective use.
  • Adjusting program scope and timing based on the needs of customers.
  • Responsible for delivering all programs on time, within budgets, and meeting strategic and business requirements.
  • Responsible for tracking key program milestones and recommending adjustments to Executive Management.

Requirements

  • Degree in a Technology, Engineering, Science, or Business degree.
  • Either Product Management, Project Management, or Business Planning professional qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience and success in any of the following roles within a context similar to DCS: Product Management, Product Planning, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Business Planning, IT Business Analyst.
  • People Leadership experience.
  • Confident and experienced in using Jira tooling, including Jira Align.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a SaaS/IoT product environment, providing a good degree of confidence in a broad range of relevant technical areas.
  • Experience the end-to-end lifecycle of managing projects and product using a variety of techniques (agile kanban, waterfall).
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a technology start-up or small technology business.
  • Knowledge of supply-chains in FMCG and Food industry.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
