About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environment Advisor to join our team at Vistry Group Careers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe planning, delivery, and review of complex projects across various areas of the construction and maintenance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Vistry Group in the safe planning, delivery, and review of projects, ensuring compliance with our Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Policies, Standards, and legislation.
  • Develop and implement effective safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and develop and implement control measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess safety performance, and provide guidance and support to site teams as needed.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of safety performance, including incident reports, safety audits, and training records.

Requirements
  • Behave in line with our company values - Integrity, Caring, and Quality.
  • Must have NEBOSH Construction or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience in a Safety Advisor role within Residential Construction or Tier 1 Contracting.
  • Member of a Professional Body, progressing to Chartered status.
  • Experience in housebuilding desirable.
