We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Surgical Ward team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our cardiothoracic surgical pathways.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a specialist area. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced clinical assessment and management of patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Registered Nurse or Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a degree in a relevant field
- Experience in cardiothoracic nursing or a related specialty
- Advanced Skills in Clinical Assessment and Non-Medical Prescribing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
