NHS Senior Nurse Practitioner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our Occupational Health team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide professional guidance, leadership, and direction to the Occupational Health nursing team. They will be accountable for the efficient and effective operational management of the nursing workforce, ensuring the provision of high-quality evidence-based nursing practice.
Main Responsibilities- Provide professional oversight to the Occupational Health nursing team
- Accountable for the efficient and effective operational management of the nursing workforce
- Guarantee the provision of high-quality evidence-based nursing practice
- Play a pivotal role in successfully delivering on our key strategic priorities, physical health, psychological health, and screening, surveillance, and vaccination
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health or equivalent
- Advanced clinical assessment skills
- Management/leadership skills qualification, training, and/or development
- Non-medical prescriber
- OH research module
- Advanced communication skills or counselling qualification
- Master's degree in OH or other relevant discipline
- Advanced clinical skills in OH specialty
- Advanced communication skills, including interpersonal skills, liaison, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Proven effective leadership and team leading skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly motivated and proactive to find solutions
- Committed to continuous service development and quality improvement
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
