About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at GAME. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring seamless execution of sales, customer service, and inventory management processes.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Sales and Customer Experience: Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies, analyzing sales data, and identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and implementing effective stockroom procedures.
  • Store Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain visually appealing store displays, ensuring a consistent and engaging customer experience.
  • Store Security and Compliance: Ensure the store is secure, compliant with company policies, and adheres to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities to improve sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Experience in managing inventory levels, with a strong understanding of stockroom procedures and inventory management systems.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to customers.
