About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at GAME. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
    • Ensure that all store processes are followed, and that the store is maintained to a high standard.
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Management
    • Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
    • Contribute to the development of team members, identifying areas for improvement and providing support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Business Development
    • Contribute to the development of business plans and strategies, working closely with the Store Manager to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Assist in the implementation of new initiatives and projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
