Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and proactive Senior E-Commerce Manager to enhance our digital commerce initiatives at Hairburst LTD. This role involves spearheading our online sales strategy, refining customer interactions, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our digital storefront. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing e-commerce platforms, particularly with Shopify, and will be adept at managing agencies, large-scale digital transformation projects, and performance enhancement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in the e-commerce sector, with a strong preference for Shopify experience and a background in consumer goods being highly advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various e-commerce platforms, trends, and technologies, coupled with a strong capability to evaluate and analyze performance metrics to guide strategic planning.
  • Solid technical skills, including familiarity with conversion rate optimization, search engine optimization, and user experience design. Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Experience in formulating e-commerce strategies across multiple international markets, collaborating within an omni-channel brand framework. Proven track record in managing extensive e-commerce projects and liaising with external agencies and vendors.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners, along with demonstrable experience in cultivating and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns with broader business objectives and stimulates growth across all international markets.
  • Oversee the daily management of our websites, including the development of new functionalities and initiatives for conversion rate optimization (CRO), testing, and user experience (UX) to deliver a superior digital experience.
  • Lead a continuous improvement program by consistently measuring and analyzing our e-commerce performance metrics, utilizing insights to drive enhancements while staying abreast of the latest e-commerce technologies and trends to keep our platform innovative.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a proficient e-commerce team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery.
