Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Senior E-Commerce Manager to enhance our digital commerce capabilities. This role involves spearheading and refining our online sales strategy, elevating the customer journey, and ensuring the flawless functionality of our digital storefront. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in overseeing e-commerce platforms, with a strong preference for Shopify, and will have the skills necessary to manage agencies, large-scale digital transformation projects, and performance enhancement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the e-commerce sector, particularly with Shopify, and a background in consumer goods is highly advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various e-commerce platforms, trends, and technologies, coupled with a strong capability to assess and analyze performance metrics to guide strategic choices.
  • Robust technical skills, including familiarity with conversion rate optimization, search engine optimization, and user experience design. Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Experience in formulating e-commerce strategies across multiple international markets, collaborating within an omni-channel brand framework. Proven ability to manage substantial e-commerce projects and liaise with external agencies and vendors.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners, along with a demonstrated history of building and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns with broader business objectives and fosters growth across all international markets.
  • Oversee the daily operations of our websites, including the development of new features and initiatives focused on conversion rate optimization (CRO), testing, and user experience (UX) to deliver a premier digital experience.
  • Lead a continuous improvement program by consistently measuring and analyzing our e-commerce performance metrics, utilizing insights to drive enhancements while staying informed about the latest e-commerce technologies and trends to keep our platform at the forefront of innovation.
  • Build, guide, and mentor a strong e-commerce team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery.
