Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and innovative Senior E-Commerce Manager to enhance our digital commerce initiatives. This role involves spearheading the development of our online sales strategy, refining the customer journey, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our digital storefront. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in overseeing e-commerce platforms, particularly with Shopify, and will demonstrate proficiency in managing agencies, executing large-scale e-commerce transformation projects, and optimizing performance.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the e-commerce sector, with a strong preference for Shopify experience and a background in consumer goods.
- Comprehensive understanding of various e-commerce platforms, industry trends, and technologies, along with a strong ability to evaluate and analyze performance metrics to guide strategic choices.
- Robust technical skills, including familiarity with conversion rate optimization, search engine optimization, and user experience design. Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in formulating e-commerce strategies across multiple global markets, collaborating within an omni-channel brand framework. Proven success in managing extensive e-commerce projects and liaising with external agencies and service providers.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, as well as a demonstrated history of building and leading high-achieving teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns with broader business objectives and stimulates growth across all international markets.
- Oversee the daily operations of our websites, including the development of new functionalities and initiatives focused on conversion rate optimization (CRO), testing, and user experience (UX) to deliver a premier digital experience.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by consistently measuring and analyzing our e-commerce performance metrics, leveraging insights to drive enhancements, and staying abreast of the latest e-commerce technologies and trends to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team, promoting a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Manage partnerships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and the successful delivery of services.
