Main Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring delivery against service contractual requirements.
  • Accuracy and Productivity: Meet high standards of accuracy and productivity, working to key performance indicators (KPIs) and deadlines.
  • Workload Management: Manage a high volume of workload consistently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Coach and mentor junior staff, share best practices, and lead update sessions to improve team skills.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, attending external training sessions and utilizing publications, briefing notes, and bulletins to enhance knowledge.

Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience of using Northgate/Academy/IBS (Civica) Systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer Service Skills: Good customer service and communication skills, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of Housing Benefits/Council Tax and relevant regulations.
  • IT Competence: Proficiency in IT, with the ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
