About the Role

Arup is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Climate Change and Sustainability Services team in London. As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental consultancy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver impact assessments for projects at all levels, including major national infrastructure and urban development projects.
  • Work closely with technical disciplines to deliver high-quality environmental consultancy services.
  • Co-ordinate environmental impact assessment projects, including day-to-day management of the assessment and technical teams.
  • Write environmental reports, including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, and non-technical sections of Environmental Statements.
  • Promote project management activities, including programming and budget control.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level, preferably a master's degree.
  • Experience in environmental consultancy, including knowledge of environmental legislation and policy.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a commercial environment, including programme and time management, quality assurance, and financial/budget control.
