Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly organized and motivated Construction Project Manager to join their team during this exciting period of expansion. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects ranging in value from £10,000 to over £1.5 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review job specifications and pricing documents to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Coordinate with design consultants to achieve cost-effective designs that meet client requirements.
  • Procure materials and equipment competitively throughout the project lifecycle to maximize profitability.
  • Source, manage, and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor and update project schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Liaise with clients regularly to provide fortnightly progress reports and address any concerns.
  • Conduct monthly project valuations and invoicing to ensure accurate financial management.
  • Manage pricing for any contract variations or additional works to maintain profitability.
  • Review project budgets to identify areas for cost savings and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained on all sites to protect employees and clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including project management software.
  • Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team to achieve project goals.
