Position Overview: Senior Financial Strategy and Planning Partner

Location: London

Work Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent

Role Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Strategy and Planning Partner will deliver strategic and financial insights to enhance decision-making processes within Exolum NWE and boost overall business performance. The primary responsibilities include leading and managing the annual budgeting cycle for Pipeline Systems (PS), rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic planning, ensuring that all planning assumptions are uniformly applied and documented. Additionally, this role involves preparing and reviewing planning presentations and reports for the consolidated Exolum NWE presentation deck, which is submitted to Exolum Group. To foster effective business collaboration, the Senior Financial Strategy and Planning Partner will develop and refine PS monthly management reports and presentations, integrating key performance indicators from various departments while working closely with NWE senior management and group finance.

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this position, candidates must be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis methodologies, alongside substantial experience in commercial finance. Successful applicants will demonstrate proficiency in accounting standards and financial analysis, as well as familiarity with commercial investment appraisal techniques.

A background in corporate finance and consulting, or knowledge of the pipeline logistics and bulk liquid storage sectors, will be advantageous for the Senior Financial Strategy and Planning Partner role.
