Position Overview: Senior Strategic Planning and Financial Business Partner

Location: London

Role Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, the Senior Strategic Planning and Financial Business Partner will deliver strategic and financial insights that facilitate informed decision-making within Exolum NWE and enhance overall business performance. Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating the annual budgeting process for Pipeline Systems (PS), managing rolling forecasts, and engaging in long-term strategic planning while ensuring consistency in all planning assumptions. This role also involves preparing and reviewing planning presentations and reports as part of the consolidated presentation deck for Exolum NWE, which is submitted to Exolum Group. To foster effective business collaboration, the Senior Strategic Planning and Financial Business Partner will develop and refine PS monthly management reports and presentations, integrating KPIs from various departments and working closely with NWE senior management and group finance.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, candidates should be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis techniques, along with extensive experience in commercial finance. A strong grasp of accounting standards and financial analysis, as well as familiarity with commercial investment appraisal techniques, is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate finance and consulting or possess knowledge of the pipeline logistics and bulk liquid storage sectors.
