We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Financial Strategy Partner to become a vital member of our Finance division. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility in your work environment, along with a competitive salary and an extensive benefits package.

Position Overview

In the role of Financial Strategy Partner, you will collaborate closely with the Nursing Director and senior management within departments, assisting them in navigating their financial performance and investment strategies through insightful and value-driven financial guidance.

  • Employment Type: This is a full-time, permanent role requiring 37.5 hours of work each week.
  • Location: The position is based in our central office, with a hybrid working approach available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong, credible relationships with Nursing Senior Managers, promoting a culture of accountability for financial performance.
  • Deliver clear and expert guidance on various financial matters, including financial planning, data interpretation, and financial processes.
  • Engage with Nursing Senior Managers in the formulation of operational strategies within their departments, challenging existing practices and developing financial solutions to address current and future challenges.
  • Ensure a robust control environment within the Nursing departments, adhering to the financial policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Promote best practices across the entire Finance function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent experience.
  • Proven success in a commercial finance or business partnering capacity (essential).
  • Experience with capital project reporting, major investment initiatives, or IT/Property business partnering (desirable).
  • Background in the healthcare sector (essential).
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and general IT applications.
  • Able to communicate financial information effectively to a diverse, non-financial audience (essential).
