We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Bowel Care Nursing team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist care, advice, and support to patients undergoing surgery/treatments for pelvic floor disorders.
Main Responsibilities- Implement and evaluate care pathways for patients throughout their conservative and surgical treatments, under the supervision of the Lead CNS Pelvic Floor.
- Attend bi-monthly SNM theatre sessions as support for CNS Band 7 during the insertion of SNM devices and initial post-operative programming.
- Liaise with external agencies and representatives from medical equipment suppliers.
- Prepare and conduct Nurse-led follow-up clinics, both face-to-face and telephone, for all conservative treatments.
- Retrieve and respond to telephone messages from the problem-solving help line.
- Attend and actively participate in bi-monthly MDT meetings.
