Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Isle of Wight Council. As an Approved Mental Health Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our AMHP service, which operates across 24 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Mental Health Act assessments and provide support to individuals in need
  • Contribute to the 24-hour AMHP rota and hold a small number of Mental Health cases
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve positive outcomes and support the growth of the service
  • Participate in regular quality supervision and training opportunities
