Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Approved Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Isle of Wight Council. As a Casual Mental Health Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our AMHP Service and providing high-quality care to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the AMHP Service in providing mental health assessments and interventions
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Approved Mental Health Professional status or willingness to work towards approval
- Experience working in mental health or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits:
- Casual contract with flexible working hours
- Travel expenses for mainland AMHPs
- Standby fee of £85.00 for every shift
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.82 per hour
