About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Approved Mental Health Professional. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate assessments and explore all least restrictive options to care and treatment
  • Work towards being an authorized Approved Mental Health Professional upon successful completion of the AMHP course
  • Participate in the Out of Hours Stand-by Duty Rota as and when requested by management
Requirements
  • Registered social worker, occupational therapist, or mental health nurse with a proven track record of commitment to professional development
  • Experience of working with people in mental health crises and a strong focus on recovery and prevention principles
  • Demonstrable experience in statutory mental health services, with a specific focus on risk management and multi-agency working
