About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy interventions for adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and diagnosis for adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve communication skills and quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research
