About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy interventions for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and diagnosis for adults with learning disabilities and autism
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination
  • Conduct assessments and provide support and consultation to other agencies on communication strategies and capacity assessments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
