Job Opportunity for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and nurturing individual to join our team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant. This role will involve working with children who have a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting small groups of pupils with learning tasks under the guidance of a teacher
  • Assisting children's emotional wellbeing and communication skills
  • Fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for children to build safe relationships
  • Safeguarding the welfare of pupils and ensuring their safety at all times
  • Working with pupils across Key Stages 2-4

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education
